Gleich kommt der Zug zur Globetrotter Hauptzentrale.

Es steht ein sehr wichtiges Gespräch an denn es geht heut darum, ob Globetrotter Ausrüstung mich bei meinem Projekt unterstützt und mich ausstattet.
Es geht um sehr viel. Ich bin nervös und wahnsinnig aufgeregt.

Der Empfang in der Zentrale ist warm und herzlich – obwohl wir uns noch nicht kannten sind wir doch von Herzen Globetrotter.
Über 4h sprechen wir über mein Projekt. Gehen nahezu jedes Detail durch.
Sie hören interessiert zu. Dann spricht Iris Tews (zuständig für Spenden und Sponsoring bei Globetrotter Ausrüstung).
Und meine Augen fangen an zu leuchten. Was jetzt folgt ist unglaublich…

Globetrotter ist sehr begeistert von meinem Projekt, stattet mich mit Ausrüstung aus und dreht ordentlich die Werbetrommel für mich. Meine Story erscheint auf mehreren Webseiten und Magazinen von Globetrotter, im Monatlichen Newsletter und im Hausinternen Mitarbeitermagazin.
Und noch viel mehr:
Globetrotter spendet eine große Summe an Shelter 108 e.V – Dem guten Zweck meiner Reise.
Ich bin überwältigt und in diesem Moment so unendlich stolz auf mich.

Noch kann ich es nicht richtig fassen. Was für ein riesen Erfolg. Ich hab es geschafft schon jetzt vor der eigentlichen Reise Spendengelder für Shelter 108 zu bekommen.

Ich habe durch mein handeln die Welt ein stück weit besser gemacht und zum positiven verändert.
Das war mein Ziel.
Bisher hab ich von solchen Entscheidungsgesprächen immer nur in der Zeitung gelesen oder im TV gesehen. Heut war ich mittendrin.
Ab jetzt schreib ich mein eigenes Abenteuer.

Ich bin so unendlich dankbar.
Danke an alle die zu diesem Erfolg beigetragen haben.

Als wir nach dem Gespräch das Haus verlassen springe ich in die Luft und schreie vor Freude in die Welt.

The five regrets

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn’t work so hard.

This came from every male patient that I nursed. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Often they would not truly realize the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

Think about that and make the best out of 2012.

LWTT-Präsentation

Ich werde eine Reise unternehmen um die Freiheit zu nutzen die ich habe. Die wir alle haben. Sollte Mann meinen. Leider trifft das nur auf die westliche Welt zu. In Asien, speziell in Tibet sind die Menschen nicht so frei wie wir. Die Grenzen dieser Menschen sind Real. Während viele Grenzen der westlichen Zivilisation nur im Kopf existieren.

Der Preis meiner Freiheit:
Jeden Tag muss ich für meine Unterkunft und Nahrung kämpfen. Aber diesen Preis zähle ich gern…

Wie es weitergeht und ob ich von Globetrotter Ausrüstung unterstützt werde erfahrt ihr bald…

It´s strange…

Since I know the day when I start my big jouney, everything changed. Especially the meaning of moments.

It´s like you know the day when you’re gonna die.

Some things lose their meanings – Moments like when somebody is angry about you or even the parking ticket on the front window of your car.

On the other hand becomes moments very important – Moments like the breakfast with my girlfriend or the party with your friends around.

You enjoy more and more the good things that happen in your life. Maybe because you know that you will miss these kind of moments within the next 2 years…

Wie die Zeit vergeht…

Es ist merkwürdig…

Seitdem ich meinen Starttermin bekannt gegeben habe verändern sich die Dinge. Ganz besonders die Bedeutung von bestimmten Momenten.

Es ist als wenn Du Deinen Tag kennen würdest an dem Du sterben wirst.

Einige Dinge verlieren an Bedeutung – Oder mann misst ihnen bei langem nicht mehr so viel Bedeutung zu als mann das vielleicht früher getan hätte. Momente wie z.bsp wenn jemand sehr wütend auf Dich ist und Dich vielleicht anschreit – Oder sogar der Strafzettel am Auto.

Auf der anderen Seite werden bestimmte Momente immer wichtiger – Momente wie z.bsp das gemeinsame Frühstück mit meiner Freundin oder die Party mit Freunden.

Du geniest immer mehr die positiven Dinge die Dir tagtäglich geschehen. Vielleicht weil Du weist dass Du diese Momente in den nächsten 2 Jahren vermissen wirst…

yeah right – I´m still working on my project.

The last Blog is more than 1year ago and there are so many things happen in the meantime.

I walked again 2 weeks on the Camino the Santiago, ran 2 Marathon, cross the italian Dolomites with backpack and tent and made some survival trainings.Click to view slideshow.

I met some very interesting people who did similar projects. Like today, I met Maximilian Semsch who rode more than 13.000Km by bike from Munich to Singapore. His next trip start on January 1st. This time he will ride 18.000Km around Australia. You can follow him on his website:

So I´m in the end of my plannings and I’m proud to tell you that the trip will start on March 11th 2012 – The day after my 31st birthday.

first of all, sorry that there was no news since 6 months ago. But that doesn’t mean that I was totally lazy…  ;)

So, what happened since the last 6 Months, what did I learn and what had I experienced?

I traveled the world and visit Canada for 3 weeks for hiking. I found some new ideas and a lot of new inspirations. I also improved my photography skills in that time…  ;)

Canada is such a beautiful country! Always worth a trip.

I will post some of my pics from Canada in the next days so you can check if I make some good photos and you can see if I could improve my photography skills. I hope you get exited about that… ;)

And here is the thing I’m very proud of:

I ran and train a lot this year because I ran 3 Marathons in 2010 – Yeah right: 3 Marathons. 2 of them within 2 weeks.

And I’m very proud of that. Did I already say that I’m very proud of myself…  ;)

1^st Marathon I ran this year was in Dresden. It was at the end of April and spring is a great time to run. Wow! What a beautiful track! All the time along the Elbe river.  My time was not that bad, but I missed my goal. I finished my 1^st Marathon this year with a finish time of: 04:28:56h.

The 2^nd Marathon was the the worst weather Marathon I ever ran. It was at the end of September and way to cold for this season! We got just 11°c and it rained all the time. Soaked to the skin and wet shoes, heavy as cement… =/

But I’m proud that I finish this Marathon with a time of 04:06:11h and without any problems or health issues. Thanks god!

But then, 2 weeks later, my time has come. The weather was perfect, the crowd did a very good job, I was in a very good mood and so it came that I beat the magic 4h wall and run the first time a Marathon within 4hrs.

I finish the Munich Marathon with a time of 03:55:51h  YEAH!!!

And the year is still not over yet…  ;)

By the way – I already registered for the 2011 Paris Marathon. Most time along the Seine river with all the famous sights such as Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Louvre Museum or Arc de Triomphe. Maybe one of the most beautiful tracks in the world…   It’s just the usual madhouse…  ;)

It was a very interesting meeting. By a cup of tea we talked about the situation in Tibet, about the Dalai Lama and about how I can support the ICT.

Kai Müller signed my shirt for the half marathon I ran 2 days after the meeting.

After the meeting I take a walk in Berlin. Here are some pictures of the Wall who divides East and West Berlin for more than 28 years.

Now it looks very pretty. But what happens along this wall isn’t that pretty. Many people lost their lives as they try to escape the so called “East Sector”.  People who look for a better life were shoot like animals. And now the same terrible things happen to tibetans who try to escape Tibet.

I was running the Berlin Half Marathon on 28.03.2010.
It was cold, windy and rainy… =/
But the Atmosphere was good and I’m proud to finish at rank 8778 out of 27.031 starters… :)

Roland “MJ” Preisach a big friend of mine got a awesome “history”

I met Roland just 6 months ago in Munich. We played the cashflow game several times together and keeped in touch. I told Roland about the Robert Kiyosaki seminar in Scottsdale.

From that day on Roland did everything what’s necessary to attend on this seminar. He need money – So he sell his Motorbike, Books, Music LP and other stuff to collect money for the flight and the seminar. He made it!

Fortunately he didn’t sold the Michael Jackson limited Edition Music CD before because this CD was his ticket to Argentina.

He exchanged the CD for: 

3 months rent-free living in Buenos Aires, Argentina; work and training in different arenas including real estate, internet-based business and more: paid training in sales; Spanish lessons; training in internet-based business practices; real estate brokerage training including a license at completion; coaching in team building; Tango lessons, an exquisite dinner; tickets to a soccer event and more, with an option of extending the relative time frame involved.

So he quit his job, clear his flat, say goodbye Germany and start a new life in Argentina.
